Marine Energy All-Party Parliamentary Group
The Marine Energy All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) brings together MPs and members from the House of Lords, from across the political spectrum that share an ambition to make the UK the world leader in developing, deploying and exporting marine energy technology and GB expertise around the world.
The purpose of the APPG is to promote the economic, supply chain and energy security benefits from the development of marine energy resources in and around the UK.
The APPG holds regular meetings to discuss industry developments, hosts roundtables with Ministers, and organises parliamentary events.
The Marine Energy Council acts as the APPG's secretariat.
The next meeting will be taking place on the 22nd October 2024 at 10AM in Portcullis House.
